For the funeral of a Returned Serviceman the local RSL Sub-Branch will attend and conduct the Military part of the Funeral Ceremony, speaking of the Forces record of the deceased and telling of their memories of him.

As part of all this The Ode will be said, and the Last Post and Reveille played.

Sometimes, these bugle calls are played from a CD, but it is very much better to have a live bugler playing them adjacent to the coffin, resplendent with its Australian Flag and the flowers on top.

Often, the bugler is called upon to play both at the Chapel Service and at the Graveside in the case of a Burial, and that's no problem at all.
